The purpose of this exercise was to experiment with hand drawing and developing quick conceptual sketches on location. It was necessary to have both one and two point perspectives. 

Communicationg ideas through quick, illustrative sketches is an important skill for interior designers. The project helped to develop free-hand perspective sketching skill and to become more comfortable with making small, quick perspective sketches. The Photographs of interiors were the guides to the drawings.  There needed to be a horizontal line and vanishing points over the photograph. Then a freehand sketch trace overlay followed by a freehand sketch. Next, the goal was to make four quick sketches in perspective. The last two quick sketches were done in the style of chose precedents (seen on part 2 below).
