My name is Marci DeFelice, and I would like to share with you a few thoughts about myself, where I come from, and my aspirations moving forward. I spent all of my childhood growing up in the heart of New Orleans, surrounded by vivacious culture, incredible food, and impeccable design. Art, Culture, People, and Communication has had a major impact in my life and is the main focus of my interests. I spent my first three years at Louisiana State University in the interior design program at LSU School of Art and Design. While I was passionate and skilled in interior design, I wanted more out of my college education. I decided to change degree programs, which led me to the E.J. Ourso School of Business at LSU. I picked Marketing for my degree studies because I am creative, organized, and can talk to almost anyone.

In my time at LSU, I have taken valuable general business courses, such as, Accounting, Management, and Business Law. I have also excelled in marketing classes, such as, Professional Selling, Marketing Research, Digital Marketing, and Consumer & Behavorial Studies. I graduated from LSU in May 2016 and moved to Lafayette, LA. Unfortunately for me, Lafayette did not have a thriving job marketing for my degree. Therefore, I began freelance marketing for Bryan's United Air Conditioning and River Beats. I also continued to work with Rixen Jewelry.

I recently moved to Arlington, VA and am very eager to begin my career. I am always looking for a great opportunity. I come from a family that's owned and operated a restaurant together for over 100 years and I have developed a strong work ethic because of it. I am a fast learner, a hard worker, and I do not complain.

I am a beginner photographer, an avid home chef, and a lover of dogs. I enjoy live music, hiking, and tasks that are challenging and creative.
